Words cannot describe the experience you have when you go out of your way to serve others. Finding a love for a culture and a people different than your own can completely change your life and your perspective of others. There's no better way to see what Jesus meant when he said, "whatever you do to the least of these, you do unto me", than to be part of the opportunity of serving others selflessly.

At The Jar we provide two opportunities to engage our world.

We coordinate and train teams that travel to help the needy in Tijuana, Mexico in November and May each year and Appalachia once a year.
