Day 15: Joshua 1:9
Joshua 1:9 is a powerful reminder of God’s presence with us in every part of life. When God gave this command to Joshua, Joshua was facing the enormous task of leading the Israelites into the Promised Land, a journey filled with unknowns and challenges. But God didn’t leave him to do it alone—He promised to be with him every step of the way, giving him strength and courage. In the same way, we’re called to face life’s challenges with courage, knowing we are never alone. God’s presence is a constant source of strength and comfort. Even when fear or discouragement sets in, we can hold on to the assurance that He is with us, guiding us, empowering us, and providing for us. His command to “be strong and courageous” is not a demand to muster up bravery on our own; it’s an invitation to lean on Him, trusting that His strength is more than enough for whatever lies Prayer Dear God, today I ask for the blessing of your provision. I praise you for meeting all my needs, even when I don’t know what to ask for. Help me to remain strong in my faith in you. Thank you for the promise of a crown of life. When I start to waver, remind me of all the good that lies ahead. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Day 13: Romans 8:28
Romans 8:28 is one of the most reassuring verses in times of hardship. It reminds us that even when life feels chaotic or painful, God is at work, weaving every experience into a greater purpose. This doesn’t mean everything will be easy or make sense to us right away. Instead, it’s a call to trust that God’s goodness and wisdom are present, even in our hardest moments. He sees the big picture and knows what is ultimately best for us, working in ways we often can’t see. Trusting in this truth can be challenging, especially when we’re in the middle of difficult circumstances. But God’s promises stand firm: He is always working for our good and shaping us to be more like Him. Our task is to lean on Him, to bring our doubts and fears to Him, and to ask for His strength to trust in His love and His purpose. If you’re struggling to see God’s goodness today, take heart. You may not see His hand in every detail, but His love and purpose for you are constant. Rest in His promise that He is working all things together for good. Prayer Dear God, I struggle sometimes to see your goodness when everything is going wrong. Help me to fully trust you and know you are always working, even when I can’t see your hand. You know what is best for me, and I want to trust you completely. In Jesus’ name, Amen. Day 12: Psalm 23:4
Psalm 23:4 is a powerful reminder that God’s presence goes with us, even in the hardest moments of life. Dark valleys are inevitable, but they are not places we walk alone. God is our Shepherd, guiding and protecting us through every shadow. His light is not absent in the darkness; in fact, His presence often becomes more evident when we are most in need of His comfort and strength. When we face difficult times, it can be easy to miss the ways God is working and shining His light into our lives. His light may come through a comforting word, an unexpected blessing, or the strength He gives us to keep going. Even in sorrow or uncertainty, His peace and comfort surround us, reminding us that we are held in His care. Today, ask God to open your eyes to His presence in your life. Look for the ways He is providing, guiding, and comforting you, even in the smallest of details. His light is always shining, even when we cannot fully see it. Prayer Dear God, thank you for being with me even during dark times in my life. Your light shines brighter in the darkness. Today, show me all the ways you are shining into my life that I have overlooked. Protect and comfort me. In Jesus’ name, Amen. Day 11: 2 Corinthians 4:8-9
Life sometimes feels like an endless string of struggles, both for ourselves and those we care about. In these verses, Paul shares the reality of hardship but also the hope that comes with faith in Christ. Though we may feel pressed, perplexed, or struck down, God promises that we will not be crushed, abandoned, or destroyed. We have a strength within us that comes from God Himself, enabling us to endure and overcome. These words remind us that no matter how difficult life becomes, we are never alone, and we are never without hope. God holds us in His hands, protecting us and giving us the strength to rise again. He sees our struggles, knows our hearts, and is closer than we often realize. His presence is a constant source of peace and resilience. If you are feeling overwhelmed today, lean into this promise. Take comfort in knowing that God is with you through every trial. He will sustain you, protect you, and renew your hope each day. Prayer Dear God, I long for a day filled with good news. I am overwhelmed by my struggles and the struggles of those around me. Yet, your Word promises we cannot be destroyed no matter what happens. Protect me in every way and hold me close. In Jesus’ name, Amen. Day 10: Isaiah 40:31
Isaiah 40:31 is a beautiful reminder that our strength does not have to come from our own efforts. When life feels exhausting, and our own strength is not enough, God invites us to place our hope in Him. Those who wait on the Lord receive new strength—a strength that goes beyond physical endurance and lifts our spirits so we can keep going with purpose and joy. This renewal doesn’t mean that the challenges disappear, but it does mean that we don’t face them alone. God’s strength fills the weary, allowing us to rise above our struggles like eagles soaring high. When we feel ready to give up, He breathes new life into us, reminding us that we were created with a purpose and that He is with us every step of the way. If you’re feeling drained today, let this verse be an encouragement. Take time to be still, to bring your burdens to God, and to let Him renew you. Trust that as you place your hope in Him, He will lift you, empower you, and help you persevere through anything life brings. Prayer: Dear God, today I ask you for your strength so I can keep going no matter what happens. When I get tired and weary, rejuvenate me. When I am ready to give up, bring me back to the life you created me for. Remind me always of your presence. In Jesus’ name, Amen. Day 9: Romans 12:12
Romans 12:12 calls us to a way of living that is not always easy: finding joy in hope, patience in trials, and faithfulness in prayer. It’s natural to feel worn out when troubles seem to come one after another. But God invites us to a different response—one anchored in hope, patience, and prayer. Hope in Him is never misplaced because He is faithful, and His timing is always perfect. Being patient in affliction means trusting that God is at work, even in difficult seasons. This patience is not passive; it is filled with quiet trust and steady faith, rooted in God’s promise to be with us. Prayer is what connects us to God’s strength, renews our hope, and reminds us that we are not alone. Today, ask God to fill you with His hope and patience. Lean on Him for strength as you wait on His timing. Whatever challenges you face, trust that He sees you, loves you, and is working all things together for your good. Prayer Dear God, fill me with your hope today. It seems like trouble keeps coming, and I’m trying to be patient. Strengthen me and give me wisdom to trust in your timing so that I keep my hope in you alone. Thank you for being worthy of my hope and praise. In Jesus’ name, Amen. Psalm 130 captures the yearning heart of someone who eagerly awaits God’s presence and direction. The psalmist compares this waiting to watchmen longing for the dawn, a time when darkness fades, and hope is renewed. This kind of waiting isn’t passive; it’s filled with expectancy and confidence in God’s faithfulness. Even when we don’t yet see what God is doing, we can trust that He is at work and that He will meet us with exactly what we need.
God’s Word is our anchor during these times of waiting. When we feel uncertain or weary, His promises remind us of His unchanging love and presence. Through His Word, He speaks to our hearts, strengthens our spirits, and renews our hope. Every moment spent seeking Him draws us closer to understanding His purpose and plan for us. If today finds you feeling the weight of waiting, turn to God’s Word. Let Him fill you with hope, as surely as the dawn follows the night. Trust that He is near, that He hears your prayers, and that He will meet you with His unfailing love. Prayer: Dear God, I praise you for your faithfulness. I know I can count on you at all times, no matter what. Open the eyes of my heart to see what you have for me in your Word. Surround me with your presence, Father. I desperately need a touch from you today. In Jesus’ name, Amen. In seasons when life feels out of control or uncertain, it can be challenging to remember God’s goodness. Yet, Lamentations 3:25 offers a beautiful reminder that God is good to those who put their hope in Him. His goodness is not dependent on our circumstances or our feelings but is a part of who He is. God is always working for our good, even when we can’t fully understand His ways.
Trusting in God’s goodness means leaning on Him and seeking Him daily, especially when life feels unsettled. It’s an invitation to let go of trying to control everything and instead rest in the knowledge that God’s plans for us are good. When we place our hope in Him, we find peace that surpasses all understanding, knowing that we are held by a loving Father who knows what we need. Today, as you go through whatever comes your way, take a moment to reflect on God’s goodness. Let that be your source of strength and comfort, knowing that He is always with you, working for your ultimate good. Prayer: Dear God, thank you for your goodness. I trust you are always good and working for my good, even when things are out of sorts. Help me to depend fully on you today and every day. In Jesus’ name, Amen. Day 6: Psalms 27:14
Waiting can feel like one of the hardest things we are asked to do. In the waiting, our minds tend to wander into worry—wondering about what may or may not happen. Yet, Psalm 27:14 reminds us that in the waiting, we are called to be strong and take heart. This strength doesn’t come from our own efforts but from our trust in God. His timing is always perfect, and He is faithful to act according to His plan. The call to "wait for the Lord" is not passive; it’s an active choice to trust Him even when we can’t see the outcome. Waiting on God often requires courage—to face uncertainty, to let go of control, and to trust that He is working behind the scenes for our good. In the waiting, God shapes our character, deepens our faith, and strengthens our reliance on Him. If you find yourself anxious about the future or weary from waiting, remember that God is never late. He is always on time, and His plan is perfect. Ask Him today for the strength and courage to wait well, trusting that He is holding your life in His hands. Prayer Dear God, if I’m honest, waiting is incredibly hard. I worry about what might or might not happen. But, I also know your timing is always right. So, today I ask you to strengthen me and give me the courage I need to face all the trials in my life right now. In Jesus’ name, Amen. Day 5: Deuteronomy 31:8
Fear and discouragement can creep into our hearts, especially when life becomes overwhelming. Yet, God’s words in Isaiah 41:10 give us a promise that we can cling to in these moments. He tells us not to fear because He is with us. His presence is a source of comfort, strength, and peace, no matter how difficult the situation may seem. God doesn’t leave us to face life’s challenges alone. He promises to strengthen us and help us, to uphold us when we feel like we can’t stand on our own. In times of fear or discouragement, we can rest in knowing that God is right there with us, surrounding us with His peace. His power is greater than any fear we face, and His presence brings calm to our hearts. Today, if you’re feeling afraid or discouraged, remember that God is near. He hasn’t left your side, and He never will. Lean on His promise to be with you, and ask Him to fill your heart with His peace that surpasses all understanding. Prayer Dear God, thank you for being with me at all times. When I get afraid and discouraged, Father, I ask you to surround me with your peace. You said you are always with us, and right now I need to feel you more than ever. In Jesus’ name, Amen |
