Verse of the Day: When anxiety was great within me, your consolation brought me joy. PSALM 94:19 (NIV)

As you read this verse, what comes to mind? Is there a situation that is causing you to feel anxious right now?

Pray this verse as a breath prayer today. Breathe in and say, “when anxiety was great within me.” Breathe out and say, “your consolation brought me joy.” Repeat this whenever you feel anxious. How do you feel after you pray this prayer?

Prayer: Father, I’m feeling some anxiety today about _____________. Allow me to feel you consoling me through it. I lift up to you whatever is causing my anxiety, and I surrender it to you. Fill me with your peace that passes understanding. Amen.

Not sure how to explain this. I have stood in front of a church and cussed God for my anxiety. Fine God don’t listen to me but I’m right here. Anxiety waiting for nothing in return. Fine God maybe you don’t believe in me but I still believe in you God and Jesus and even though the answer was no I’ll keep believing and I’ll keep pushing forward.

When anxiety fills me I take a deep breath and my faith in God and Jesus allows me to calm myself so I can exhale and I feel I’m not alone and mostly the anxiety is gone
