DAY 10: SEPTEMBER 26TH

9/26/2025

Verse of the Day: God sets the lonely in families… PSALM 68:6A (NIV)

Who comes to mind when you think about the families that God has placed around you?

Thank God for the gift of family, or if no one comes to mind, ask him to bring people around you who are like family.

Prayer: Father, thank you for the people you’ve surrounded me with that are a family to me, whether they are blood-related or not. Help me to reach out to others and be a family to them as well. And thank you for adopting me into your family and becoming a Father to me. Amen

Even though these names I’m about to give are family members already with God but my dad, my mom, grandma Hayden, and most of all my brother Dennie, gives me peace but I also have the church family, and I have Bobby by my side. Above all I do feel as though I’m walking with God and God is always with me.

Before Patti finally walking beside me my dad on his dead bed asked whatever happened to you and Patti because she’s all you talked about in 1979. Dad you would have to ask her. He told even Frank her dad had told my dad he thought we would be together. My dad told me Bobby I took care of your mom being bed ridden for 20 years and after she past I thought well I could at least meet people now but I failed to take care of myself so I’m not living I’m existing. Bobby you always blazed your own path God only gives us one life and you're not living yours. Follow your heart. First time dad ever told me what to do as an adult. My dad is my hero even though he’s passed. Patti dad treated me like a son. My grandsons give me strength but I am disowned from my daughter because she won’t let me see them since divorcing her mom. Patti is and always has been my best friend.
