Have you felt this tension between wanting to believe but experiencing doubt at the same time?

Is there a circumstance in your life that you need help from God to have faith for?

Prayer: Father, I want to believe, but at the same time, I have doubts. Give me a greater faith to believe and trust in you. Thank you for being patient with me when I doubt and never turning your back on me. Amen.

If you had ask this question before we came to The Jar doubt might be an issue. I was leaving a 42 year old marriage but I was lonely and felt unappreciated and not loved. Patti was leaving a family where she took care of her friend wife and lost herself in those 5 years. We came to Muncie with hope and faith in each other but also had our doubts of each other because we were manipulated and someone else’s puppet even though we knew each other since 1979. It was by chance the next door neighbors invited us to The Jar for Christmas Eve mass and the moment we walked in and listened to the music, listened to Pastor Chris we both realized we weren’t alone in the walk we started together. We look forward to Sunday message. We no longer have doubt anymore because we know God and if we would ask someone in The Jar if we needed help it would be found.
