Verse of the Day: Even if we feel guilty, God is greater than our feelings, and he knows everything. 1 JOHN 3:20 (NLT)

Conviction is a prompting from God that leads us to do what’s right. Guilt, on the other hand, is a feeling, which is unreliable and often from the enemy. Do you feel any guilt at the moment for something you have already asked God to forgive you for?

What truth from God can you focus on when you are struggling with guilt?

Prayer: Father, give me the wisdom to know the difference between guilt and conviction. If there is anything that I need to turn from or ask forgiveness for, give me the courage to do that. But if the guilt I’m feeling is not from you, help me to focus on your truth instead. Thank you for forgetting my sins and burying them in the deepest ocean. Amen
