Verse of the Day: To all perfection I see a limit, but your commands are boundless. PSALM 119:96 (NIV)

Do you struggle with perfectionism? If so, in what way? Close your fists and imagine that you are holding on to perfection. Then pray, “To all perfection there is a limit.” Release your fists and imagine letting go of perfectionism. Then pray, “But your commands are boundless.”

What do you feel as you pray this?

Prayer: Father, thank you that your commands are limitless. They bring a freedom that perfectionism can never bring. Help me to let go of perfectionism and cling to your commands. Because you are perfect. Amen. 2
