 Verse of the Day: Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will lift you up in honor. JAMES 4:10 (NIV)

Ask God to speak to you through this verse and then read it a few times slowly. Is there a word or phrase that sticks out to you?

Do you sense God whispering anything to you? Do you sense God prompting you to take a step that might require humility? Is he leading you to open up about your anxiety to a friend or to seek help from a doctor or professional?

Prayer: Father, forgive me for any pride that keeps me from experiencing freedom from anxiety. Remind me that when we are humble, you lift us up. Help me to overcome my pride and take a step of faith. Amen.
