Verse of the Day: .For God has said, “I will never fail you. I will never abandon you.” HEBREWS 13:5B (NLT)

Ask God to speak to you through today’s verse. Then read through it slowly a few times. Is there a word or phrase that jumps out to you? Or is there anything you sense God whispering to you through this passage?

Are you or someone you know struggling with loneliness? If so, what encouragement do you find in this passage?

Prayer: Father, when I feel alone, help me to remember you are always by my side. Allow me to sense your presence and feel your guidance. Teach me to reach out to you in my loneliness instead of temporary fixes. Thank you for your constant companionship. Amen.

Before Bobby I felt lonely, even when Kerry was home or waiting for him. My job was taking care of the home. His wife medical needs and he is the one that got me drinking and yes, there was a period of time that I went to church when I was in Tennessee and I was told that’s when I was walking behind God. I’ve learned since The Jar he walks with me. Bobby don’t expect anything out of me we do this together. We’re going to church together. We’re doing everything together. If I have questions even with him knowing the Bible better than I do that’s a very big blessing to me but at the end of his statement he tells me what do I think and never do what I think he wants to do but what I want or what I believe God wants. God mainly but Chris is also showing me how to help myself and I am now walking down a better path. From Bobby: Patti once told me I feel like I’m in a round room and people tell me this or that but to find the answer I must go to a corner of that round room. My life was just that before Patti walking in circles trying to find the answers.
