Hey folks,

This Sunday, we're continuing our series, Helping Friends Through Tough Times, as we talk about something that can bring a lot of stress, fear, and even shame: debt.

When someone we care about is struggling financially, it can be hard to know what to say or how to help. Do we offer advice? Give them money? Stay out of it? This week, we'll look at how we can come alongside a friend who feels like they're drowning in debt—offering support, encouragement, and hope without judgment.

Join us this Sunday at the Muncie Civic Theatre at 9:00 or 10:45 AM as we discover practical, biblical ways to be the kind of friend someone needs when financial pressure feels overwhelming.

GriefShare - New Session Begininning
Grief can feel overwhelming, but you don’t have to walk through it alone. GriefShare is a caring, supportive group for anyone grieving the death of a loved one.

Two groups are beginning next week at The Jar Ministry Center:

Mondays at 6:00 PM beginning August 17
Tuesdays at 2:00 PM beginning August 18

GriefShare provides a safe place to find encouragement, practical help, and hope alongside others who understand the journey of grief.

Small Group Fair - Aug 23
One of the best ways to grow in your faith is by growing in community, and that's exactly what Small Groups are all about.

Whether you're new to The Jar or you've been here for years, there's a place for you. This is the perfect time to jump into a group because we're launching four brand-new groups, and all of our existing groups are beginning new studies!

The Community Basket
The Community Basket, a ministry of The Jar Community Church, is here to help provide clothing and other essentials to people in our community.
The Community Basket is open twice each month:
1st Saturday of each month: 10:00 AM–12:00 PM
3rd Thursday of each month: 6:00–7:00 PM
You can find the Community Basket at 920 W Main St., Muncie.
Whether you could use a little extra help or know someone who could, help us spread the word so this resource can reach the people who need it!
Alpha Beginning in Sept 
We're excited to launch Alpha, a brand-new young adults ministry at The Jar!
Whether you're brand new to church and have a lot of questions about faith, or you've been following Jesus for years and are looking to build community with other young adults, Alpha is a place where you belong.
