JarKids is the children’s ministry program at The Jar Community Church. JarKids is for children 6 weeks – 5th Grade.
We believe all children matter to God, and every child has a right to learn about Jesus in a safe, loving and fun environment. Each Sunday children learn about Jesus through age-appropriate activities, large group worship, and prayer. |

Fun
We think being a Christ follower is the most exciting decision a person can make. We work hard to make sure that children find a place where they can experience the joy and excitement of knowing Jesus every week. “Always be full of joy in the Lord. I say it again--rejoice!” - Philippians 4:4 Safe Children learn best when they are both emotionally and physically safe. We take seriously our responsibility to care for children while they are with us. We have designed a secure sign-in system, accident report system, and child abuse prevention program to ensure the safety of our children. For in the day of trouble he will keep me safe in his dwelling;” - Psalm 27: 1, 5a (NIV) Bible Based The Bible is the final authority on all of our life issues. We want children to become acquainted with its contents and to learn to seek the Bible’s help when they are faced with decisions and problems. “You have been taught the Holy Scriptures from childhood, and they have given you the wisdom to receive the salvation that comes by trusting in Christ Jesus. All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what it true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right. God uses it to prepare and equip his people to do every good work.” - 2 Timothy 3: 15-17 Relevant The times are changing. We do our best to stay in tune with what our kids' worlds are like when they are not with us. We believe it is important to provide them with music and lessons that they can relate to. “He {Jesus} taught them by telling many stories in the form of parables.” - Mark 4:2 Applicable It is our goal that children will leave our care on Sunday ready to make one small change that helps them get closer to living God’s way.
