First Step |
If you're new to The Jar, we'd like to personally invite you to The First Step with Chris. It lasts about an hour, and you'll get to meet Pastor Chris, learn how The Jar got started and find out what we're passionate about. It takes place after the 2nd celebration (around 12:05PM) in the Community Room (if you don't know where that is, don't worry, there will be signs). Lunch and childcare will be provided. Check out The Jar calendar to see when the next First Step class will be held.

Small Groups |
What are Small Groups?
Small Groups gather together to form relationships and learn more about Jesus. Most small groups include around 8-16 people. During their meetings, they study the Bible, pray, worship, and find ways to serve the community. Each group has a leader that facilitates the group. Why should I join a Small Group? Small Groups are a great place to connect with people from The Jar and make new friends. They provide an atmosphere where you can open up about the issues in your life and receive prayer, encouragement, and support. Small Groups also help you to dig deeper into the Bible and apply it to your life. When you can get together regularly with the same group of people where you are known, loved, celebrated and served, that's when you are really experiencing church the way God intended it. |
