Service Opportunities

The Community Basket
Best described as a 'non-food' food bank, The Community Basket's ultimate goal is to provide members of our community who are in need with hygiene, cleaning and paper items that food stamps do not provide! The Basket could use volunteers during their open hours as well as donations of items.

ServeFest
The 2nd Saturday of each month at 10am is our ServeFest.  We meet up at The Jar Office (920 W Main St) and break up into teams to go to the Muncie Mall to hand out cookies as a simple way to show people God loves them. ServeFest is on the second Saturday of each month and is one hour of reaching out to our community with love and kindness---no strings attached. If you would like to serve, you can show up the day of or sign up with this link.

We're blessed with an amazing group of volunteers that help make our Sunday Celebrations a success, but there's always room for anyone who would like to be a part of Sundays at The Jar. Setup and teardown teams, children's ministry, worship team, sound and media, and hospitality team welcome any dedicated volunteers ready to serve!
